Prospective Musicians
One of our major goals is to rehearse and perform the works of the standard orchestral repertoire. To achieve this goal, we seek approximately 80-90 proficient amateur musicians. If you are interested in auditioning for the MCO, please carefully read the following information and fill out the form.
Audition Information: Auditions are held in August of each year, shortly before the start of each MCO season. Specifics regrading auditions will be posted on this website. Please fill out the contact form below if you are interested in auditioning.
Excerpts: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass. In addition, we ask that you prepare two minutes of a concerto of your choice that best represents your musical ability.
We will maintain a waiting list in the event that there are no openings in your section.
