MCO Young Artist Competition
Since 2019, the Middleton Community Orchestra has given young musicians the opportunity to compete in the MCO’s Young Artist Competition. The winners of the competition join the MCO in an annual concert as soloists.

The MCO is excited to announce that the 2027 MCO Young Artist Competition application is now live! Please fill out the 2027 Young Artist Competition form (above) to indicate your interest. Applications are due on Tuesday, December 1st, 2026.
Auditions will take place at Capitol Lakes Retirement Center, 333 W. Main St. in downtown Madison, between 10am-3pm on Sunday, January 3, 2027. Your choice of repertoire must be approved before your application will be accepted. Refer to the list of pre-approved repertoire and contact us ASAP if your choice is not on the list.
